Dr. Stacy Enke
Martinez Animal Hospital has been practicing quality animal care since 1965. Dr. Stacy Enke graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, purchasing the practice in 1999. She also helps with pet over population, funding the hospital’s current kitten adoption program which places feral abandoned or unwanted kittens into loving homes.
In her spare time, Dr. Enke is involved in her children’s sports and music endeavors. As an important member of the community, she donates her name and time to girl’s softball each year. Dr. Enke loves to spend time riding her horse, Poco, and loves bowling.
Dr. Enke sees patients on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays.
Dr. Brown
Dr. Adam Brown has called the Bay Area his home since 1986. He received his undergraduate degree from U.C. San Diego in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience and he spent one year abroad at the
University of Glasgow, Scotland studying chemistry, physiology and philosophy as well as their culture. Dr. Brown is a 2007 graduate from U.C. Davis Veterinary School and he completed an internship at
San Francisco Veterinary Specialists in 2008. He has enjoyed working at Martinez Animal Hospital since early 2010. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, swimming and is looking to get back on a mountain bike
soon.
Dr. Brown lives in the east bay with his wife, Dr. Alana Alpern who is also a veterinarian. They live with their two dogs, a German Shepard & Malamute, as well as two cats, a Siamese and an Orange Troublemaker.
Dr. Brown sees patients on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Dr. Butler
Dr. Rene Butler has worked in Contra Costa, Solano, and Napa counties for over 20 years. Most of her patients have been dogs and cats, but she also enjoys treating pocket pets, birds, and reptiles. A main interest of hers is counseling owners about the importance of preventive healthcare and proper nutrition.
Dr Butler graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School with Dr. Enke in 1989, and began working with Dr Enke in 1999 at Martinez Animal Hospital.
Her pets, both rescues, include Otis the cat and Fiona the Chihuahua. She enjoys traveling and has been to many countries, including; Sweden, Finland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Germany, England. Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Peru.
Dr. Butler sees patients on Monday, Thursday and Saturdays.
